• ABOUT US

Walking with YAH was led on a journey of truth and found in YAHUAH's or Yahweh's (Egziabher in Amharic) Word, to be THE truth. We believe YAHUSHA ( some may know him as Jesus Christ) is the only way to our Father and the only real truth in this world. Through much prayer and fasting we were called and led by the Holy Spirit to sell everything and uproot our lives in the US moving to Ethiopia to do long-term missionary work serving the least of these here in Ethiopia. Walking with YAH began in 2020 in the United States.

    Proverbs 14:31 AMP
“He who oppresses the poor taunts and insults his Maker, But he who is kind and merciful and gracious to the needy honors Him.”

Today our ministry serves the orphans, poor, providing housing, food, clothing, healthcare, educational material, school uniform, discipling new believers and much more. We are also making connections with the prisons to feed the prisoners that are sick and hungry. This holistic approach aims to reduce the impact of poverty and see communities transformed by the power of the Good News!

Our faith inspires us to be an organization built on compassion and motivated by love. Our mission is to bring relief to the poorest of the poor in this country, where we serve. We strive to reflect The Most High YAH (YAHUAH/ YAHWEH or Egziabher in Amharic) unconditional love. It’s a sacrificial love that embraces all people regardless of race or religion. We believe that we can show His love by serving the “least of these” on this earth as YAHUSHA HA’MASHIAC in Hebrew challenged us to do in Matthew 25. We pray that by YAH’s grace, and with your support, we can continue to bring relief to the suffering, oppressed, disadvantaged and hope to the hopeless.

Our Vision and Mission is to follow Yahusha our savior. Walking with YAH was compelled to answer The Most High YAH’s call to holistically serve the forgotten, the orphaned and the unjustly-treated people of ETHIOPIA by meeting their real needs in the hopes of fostering people of character and children of The Most High YAH. We help them believe that with YAH ALL things are possible.

Yahusha example of unconditional love for the impoverished and persecuted inspires our work.
  • It is a joyous experience to donate towards mission work and even more joyous when that mission work is done effectively in an ever-changing world.

May we all share the joy in giving towards Yah’s Great Commission. For many of the children and families we support, a gift of any size would be greatly appreciated.

     Our Mission and Vision

We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Yahusha
    Our spiritual beliefs:
We believe the whole Bible and lost books (Apocrapha) is Yah's infallible, inerrant revelation of Himself to man. We believe in YAH as the divine Creator of the universe. We believe Yahusha to be the divine Son of YAH who came to earth, born of the Virgin Mary, being fully divine and fully man. We believe that Yahusha lived a sinless life, was crucified on the cross/ tree to provide forgiveness of sin to all who repent and put their trust in Him. We believe also that He arose on the third day and later ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of YAH the Father. We believe He will come again to receive all those who have believed on Him and will establish a new heaven and a new earth.

    Matthew 25:34-46 AMP
“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of YAH, appointed to eternal salvation], inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me [with help and ministering care]; I was in prison, and you came to Me [ignoring personal danger].’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’ “Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Leave Me, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels (demons); for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me [with help and ministering care].’ Then they also [in their turn] will answer, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will reply to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these [my followers], you did not do it for Me.’ Then these [unbelieving people] will go away into eternal (unending) punishment, but those who are righteous and in right standing with YAH [will go, by His remarkable grace] into eternal (unending) life.””

James 1:27 AMP “Pure and unblemished religion [as it is expressed in outward acts] in the sight of our YAH and Father is this: to visit and look after the fatherless and the widows in their distress, and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the [secular] world.”

It's clear from these passages that YAH cares about our attitudes toward and actions regarding the hungry, the oppressed, the widows, the strangers, and the orphans.

    Philippians 1:6 AMP
“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Yahusha [the time of His return].”

    Exodus 9:16 AMP
“But indeed for this very reason I have allowed you to live, in order to show you My power and in order that My name may be proclaimed throughout all the earth.”

    Our Cultural Values

    Kingdom Focused

We desire our lives and work to be a reflection of the Kingdom of YAH that lies within us. We realize that every circumstance is an opportunity to show YAH’s light and reveal the truth of who He is. The way we see, think and speak reflects the finished work of the sacrifice of the only begotten of the father. We live a celebratory lifestyle marked by rejoicing, thanksgiving and gratitude. We show honor and respect to everyone we encounter. We work together AS ONE in Ha'mashiac Our Saviour.

    Personal Ownership:

We take personal responsibility for the mission and vision of Walking With YAH. We take individual and collective responsibility for our actions. We steward all resources as if they were our own and to the best of our ability.

    Consistent Growth

We continually evaluate and improve upon ourselves to add value to the organization and ourselves. We are motivated and encouraged to continually grow and learn by taking on new challenges. We are adaptable, flexible and proactive. We look for ways to benefit the organization, not use the organization for our own benefit. We are thankful for how far we’ve come but we are always hopeful for what is yet to come.
